Privacy

What we collect

• Account details — if you sign up: your email, a display name, and a phone number (used only to send the wait alerts you ask for). Sign-in with Google shares your email with us.
• Usage analytics — pages viewed, features used (e.g. planning a trip, opening a crossing), referrer and approximate country (from your network, never your exact location). Tied to an anonymous in-browser id, not to your identity unless you are signed in.
• Product analytics & session replay — we use PostHog (hosted in the EU) to understand how the app is used, including anonymised session recordings. All form inputs are masked — we never record what you type, including your email or phone.

Why

To run the service (accounts, alerts), to fix problems, and to understand which features help drivers so we can improve them. We do not sell your data.

Your choices

• You can use most of MyHomeWay — live waits, trip planning, fuel — without an account.
• You can ask us to delete your account and the data tied to it at any time.
• Blocking analytics/replay cookies in your browser stops PostHog without affecting the app.
